Missions Trips
If your church, school, club or organization is interested in organizing a missions trip to Maison de Lumiere we would love to help you get a trip organized. We can work with you from the ground up to put together a life-changing visit that impacts your team for years to come.
We can work with you on everything from, flights, transportation, housing, safe meals, translators and all aspects of your visit.

Evangelism and Outreach - You will have the opportunity to visit the kids in our home as well as kids on the streets in Haiti and in other orphanages. Special trips may be offered so that you can share God's Word with people in other parts of Haiti. If a music crusade or film crusade is planned you can also join us at those events.
Construction - As we build and expand Maison de Lumiere we will always have a need for construction assistance. This could include laying block, shoveling, pouring cement, laying foundation, etc. Carpenters and plumbers are also greatly needed.
Paint - We always have things that need to be painted.
Medical/Dental - We can always use doctors, nurses and dentists as well as those who have access to medical resources to help our kids and others in the community. We can also arrange examination/treatment programs to minister to those in the region.
VBS/Camp program - These can be taught at our home or we can provide opportunities at schools, churches or in nearby villages.
Sports Camp - The children love to play soccer and basketball! You can teach them how to be a team player.
School - The children attend school during the school year 5 days a week! If you would like to assist with tutoring or possibly offer a special class, let us know.
Devotions - We have devotionals every morning and every night. We love when guests join us, share a testimony or conduct a special Bible reading. Let us know in advance if this is an interest so we can discuss this further with you.
Feeding Program - This one day outreach consists of distributing and/or serving food to children and families in Port Au Prince or remote villages.
Special Talent - Let us know about it! Maybe you can make balloon animals, cook or design fun crafts. We will try to find a way to plug you in!
