Mission and Vision
Mission
Maison de Lumiere (The Light House), home for homeless children, is a nonprofit Christian ministry that gives life and hope to the abandoned and forgotten children of Haiti.Maison de Lumiere aides these children by providing safe shelter, food, clothing and the love of Jesus Christ. Founded in 2004, Maison de Lumiere now provides the following services:
- Loving home for orphaned and homeless children
- Quality education, including courses in English and soon to be offered vocational and apprenticeship job training
- Three healthy meals a day
- Books and uniforms for school children
- Bible education and discipleship
Vision
To care for Haiti’s homeless and orphaned children and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ."Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
